I have a 84' Z28 with a Rochester four barrel carb. I went to get it smoged the other day and it failed. The results of the test said my car is running too rich. Anyone have any ideas of what i can do or what it may be? I also have changed out my PCV valve, some old vacuum hoses, distributor cap and rotor, and my O2 sensor. I have my car at a mechanic and he gave me some BS about it having to deal with my computer but i think its my carb.

 

put in a new set of spark plugs and change the oil. it may be enough to pass. if not, then have the carb rebuilt, im sure it needs it
