here in the midwest when we had to deal with emissions crap, they would kick cars for check engine lights and anything they find. If your car was originally a tbi car why did you put a quadrajunk on it? The tbi is more efficient than a carb and your check engine light has to be on right now also. Those 305 are dogs to begin with, but tossing a carb on it will make it even worse. but on your original issue. Those quadrapukes have an air bleed screw on the very top of it. most now are covered, but it can be removed, make sure to tape off the choke and secondary throttle blades so nothing falls in there. It works best if you know someone who has a sniffer machine so when you start turing the air bleed screw you can watch the numbers move. I've also seen where if an engine is in a lean state it will actually have really high numbers as well. so double check for vacuum leaks also. and put the tbi system back on!!!

The spectra dual airintake looks really bada** on the car I have mine the only downside I have found was the cost witch is about 200$ with using knock off brand air filters lucky I can give my dad the cash and he uses his va discount so it saves a lot one off the befits of him being a disabled vet but if it's in the price range I would recommend it
