Default Chugging at high speeds.

Hi, I'm new here and couldnt find anything resembling my problem. When I drive on the highway, at around 65-75 mph, my 89 V8 rs camaro starts chugging. Kind of like an out of gas chug, but i had a full tank. Anyone have any ideas why? Thank you in advance for your help.

higher speed means more fuel. if the flow in not as it should be then it will not go. try the fuel filter and see if that has any effect and also dump the contents of the filter in a clear container and see whats in it if anything.

check your spark plugs and wires also. higher speed also means more electrical current.

chugging can also be from an incorrect fuel ratio. is it carbed, tbi, or tpi?
