Default Changin light for instrument panel

Ok, so my light behind my speedometer went out sometime ago & I know how to change it once I get back there to it, but gettin to it is the problem... Where I am runnin into problems at is gettin the light switch off to get the plastic cover all the way off! I have tried it several times & got frustrated & even had others to try, but no luck. If anybody has an idea or an easier way to do this then I am willin to try anything!

if u have tilt steering tilt it all the way down and tilt the guages toward u a lil while turning it to the right. its a REALLY tight fit but it will come out. if u dont have tilt id say remove the steering wheel.

This link might help since you are gonna remove the instrument cluster panel, might not be the right vehicle but looks very similar on replacing some parts attached to it.
