Default 92 engine and transmission swap

I am buying a 1992 camaro rs with a 305 and an automatic for 7000 and i have 6000 dollars to spend on the engine swap and putting a manual in it and need some help on transmission type and engine type to put in???

go cheaper on the car. the money you save can put a 350 in the car and for around a $4000 budget you can put a 6-71 blower wih msd and the whole shabang. also use the rest of the money to find a 6 speed out of the fourth gens. if you dont like blower theres always twin turbos for around a 2000 budget from ebay, includes lowering compression in the block. thats what i am doing . But dont have to listen to me ive had both se ups before i have owed and experimented 17 third gens and am building two right now.

i just bought a 92 rs 305 auto t-tops perf body for $2200
