my 1990 RS 305 Isn't running right. If I'm not accelerating it doesn't act up much but as soon as i put my foot into it a little bit it lurches and I can hear a small popping noise in the engine. Could it be the distributor or a valve is causing it? I miss having fun driving! Thanks

 

is it tbi? sounds like the timing is off. look up the procedure to set it in a manual and check it. sounds like its too advanced.
