Hello im Eric, im not new but i just forgot my pw for another name, but anyway i found on craigslist a 87 Iroc-z with the 305 ci motor and 700R4. Its in pretty rough shape but no rust and nothing leaks. It has and aftermarket hood that i dont like at all but the guy said he would give me the hood of his old camaro and an extra set of t-tops. Now for the good. It has 97,000 original miles, original motor, trans and rear, T-tops, motor runs. For the bad- Valve cover leaks oil, exhaust ripped out, paint is there but not that good looking(no dents) interior is ok just dirty, no headliner. But for the money its worth it!

So i wanted to know what a good set of headers i should get( something under $500) and what a good sounding exhaust is there?(i prefer stainless)
Also does an aftermarket radio stick out a little or does it sit flush with the dash?

 

That seems like a good deal to me, ye bastard.

IMO the best sounding exhaust on a 3rd-gen would have been on the car when it arrived at the dealership. But, look on Youtube- listen to some clips, see what you like.
