After a very long time, I've decided to ship my 1st car from Pa to Arizona to begin a restoration. I've just about purchased all of the interior parts I think I'll need, then once I gut the interior, I'll move on to the body and paint. Last will be the engine/drive train. I've got the time and I think I should be good on money, but the one thing I still lack is patience. Does anyone have any experience on restoring 3rd gen camaros? I'm looking for a little advice and some areas that might be harder than what they seem. Thanks in advance.

I would defiantly check for rust before you get to deep into it and find out the car is rusting out and then you have a lot of wasted time, but you shouldn't have any problems finding parts and if you need any help pm me

When I went back to Pa in January, I was able to check it out pretty good. Front left quarter panel has to be replaced, and rear right will need to be removed. Both spots were right by the wheel well seam. Doors look good as does hood and hatch. My dad said he saw some rust by the jack in the "trunk" when he was prepping it to be shipped, other than that I believe its pretty good. I'll put it up on my lift at work to give it a better once over. Body work and paint is the only areas that concern me as far as money goes. I have a pretty good budget to work with but I've just spent 1500 on interior already! I am assuming I can expect 3-5K for body and paint based on what I saw. Does this sound accurate?

that all depends on who you can get to do the paint and body work replacing the rear quarter panel can get expensive if your having someone do it for you but the fender up front are relatively cheap and easy to find good luck with your build it's nice when it's all done but it can get very frustrating at times during
