Default 69 camaro radiator

i want to swap out the radiator in my 69 because it runs to hot... 210 to be exact, because i am swapping in a 350 in place of my current 307. when looking at radiator, i see some that say that they are for manual transmissions and others that say that they are for automatic trannies... what does the radiator have to do with the tranny... i have a turbo 350 so do i have to get one of these auto radiatprs, cause i want to swap out the turbo 350 someday in favor of a 6 speed.... does anyone know anythiong about this radiator swap... any knowledge would help alot thanks.

The transmission has everything to do with the radiator. If you have an automatic, there's a built in trans cooler for the automatic radiator. You're better off getting a seperate cooler and mounting it right in front of the radiator, and getting a manual radiator. As for the overheating thing, get a low temp thermostat. A 180 degree should bring you down to the 195 you're looking for, and will help you make a little bit of power, too, but if it doesn't bring you down enough, a 165 should do it.
