Hey guys,
I got a 454 and a 400t to drop in my rs and im wanting to make sure im not forgetting any details.
I know that I will have to upgrade the cooling, dent/cut the firewall for the distributor, upgrade front springs. I'm staying carburated. I dont know what im going to do with the rear end yet.
I'm expecting around 500 horse after we do cams, heads, and more!
So am I missing anything? Got any inputs, I'm always up for criticism.

first,What motor was orignally in the car?

 

It had a carb 305 and a 350 tranny in it. @ nj85z28 What do you mean subframe connectors, Like reinforcing the subframe?

You'll need to look into cross member fitment, drive shaft length, and torque arm mounting.

 

right on, I was talking to some of my buddies that are helping me with this build and we think we will have to shorten the driveshaft. I will have to look into the other issues. Thanks for the link basicconcepts.
