350 electrical problem and plugs question

Default 350 electrical problem and plugs question

ok i know my freezeplugs are gone to hell so i need to replace em and i know i need brass ones and i know i could do the labor myself but if i was to hire a mechanic how much should i be expecting to pay???? i have so many wires that are not even supposed to be there and most of them are cut or not connected. im not good with electrical except hooking up a bad *** sound system so how much money should i expect if i was get allthe electricalfixed??? thanks in advance

Ok what year is your car? get the wiring diagram for it,may have to search the web. go to a junkyard and find the same car and take the whole harness. If you can do a system you can rewire a car. on 90% of the wires they can only hook up th the plug that fits..

its a 83'. but theres also alot of wires that look like they dont even belong so what do i do with those

You'll have to get the wireing diagram, they are all color coded. that will tell you what they went to. Do a search on here and see if anything comes up, if not post a new thread asking if anyone has one.

Thanks ,yep I'm in there. I looked on the net for the diagram but there were none posted up. somebody on this site should have one that they can scan and email.
