305 to 350 TBI swap question

Default 305 to 350 TBI swap question

will any year 350 block work or it has to be certain years, if so which years will work.

a 350 is a 350. Where you can run into problems are the heads. Post 87 heads will have the center two intake manifold bolt holes drilled at a different angle that the rest.

so since do i need pre 87 heads or post 87 heads since my car is a 87 305TBI. and i want to keep my TBI system.

I'm trying to do the same thing but mine's tpi. From what I've read on the internet you need to get an engine from almost the same year, give or take a few years since a 1970 350 won't have the same technology as a 1989 350.
