anyone ever done this in a camaro? im attempting it and need advise. i already know the basics of disconnecting the ecm, using computerless distributor, changinging exhaust engine mounts, fuel lines and pump.flexplate to flywheel all that good stuff what i need to know is that i have a 305 tbi engine that came outof a 1990 chevrolet scottsdale with an auto.i havea intake for it and nned the distributor and i will run manual gauges.i have a 1986 chevy camaro that it will be going into. DOES IT FIT? DOES ANYONE KNOW? in other words does a 1990 camro 305 fit in a 1986 camaro? the second part to my question is for a tranny my 2.8 has a 5 spd does that work on a 1990 305?(bellhousing or input shaft?) or do i need a different tranny? does a 6 cyl and 8 cyl tranny differ? open to comments and suggestions thanks
