I just bought a 86 camaro with a 2.8, The fuel pump wouldnt turn on. I pulled back the carpet and discoverd a hole so i harwired the fuel pump in not it works.Now im pretty sure the injectors arent working. could there be a bad realy or fuse somwhere all the fuses are good i dont kno which relay to change. could the ecu be bad?. It has plenty of fuel pressure

 

What is the fuel pressure reading? I've had pumps that still work but didn't provide the proper pressure. The car wont run without proper fuel pressure. See that you have 12v to the injectors when key is in the ON position. Use a test lightto probe the little terminals inthe injector connector. One of themshould have 12v. The ecm grounds the other little terminal. I'm not sure where the fuel pump relay is on the 86s but my 88 it's on the drivers side firewall near the wiper motor.
