Default v-6 swap to v-8

ok, If you read my previous post you will see that I am the owner of a 91 rs camaro with a 3.1 v-6 that will not stay running. After dumping 400 bucks into this sad, pathetic engine , I am wondering what would be involved in swapping in a 305 from another gm vehicle. Would the computer be compatible with a 305 ?? which type of fuel injection would work best, TPI or TB ?Any ideas or thoughts would be helpful

I plan to swap a 383 in mine in the years to come. To keep it fuel injected you would have to replace the wiring and computer from another Camaro. The best thing to do is find a whole car that was wrecked in the rear and take it all out of it. You may run into transmission problems also as the trans in the v6 is not built as stong as the v8. It should hold the power of a stock 305 though since they only have about 170 to 180 horse power. I can't wait to do mine but that is a few years away.

I still think you should put some stock injectors in it before doing the v8 to at least try to get it drivable
