turbo kits?

Default turbo kits?

is there any turbo or twin turbo kits for the 2.8L v6 iv been searching everywhere and i cant find any. my next guess is im gonna have to custom do it....

You guessed right, custom only. Check out the guys at 60degreev6.com. Search for user forcedfirebird. He had a thread on his turbo build on a 3.1.

This is a cut and past from another post.

LOL, Sorry but turbo a 2.8? Many of those things didn't make it out of warranty without needing a crank. Why not just pull the pan and hit the crank with a big sledge hammer. It will be a lot cheaper and have about the same results.

That would also be why no one makes a kit for it. Step one would be upgrade the crank and rods.

LOL that will hold up a long time.... No amount of videos will ever make be believe a 2.8 will hold up to any abuse for any real amount of time. Why you ask. Because I have put dozens of cranks in 2.8's. Most had to have the rods resized/replaced also. These where all bone stock motors that where maintained with less then 50K and less then 3 years old.

I remember one little old lady who let her Grandson borrow her car. He put less then 50 miles on it and streached out 5 of the connecting rods.
