my friends havin some troble with his car its a 1991 firebird v6 all stock 150000 miles and hes has 2 keep changin his spark plugs cuz oil on them hes changed them like three times know. i just want some clues on what maybe causing this 2 happen .how much does it cost for a rebuild kit for the engine. oh ya and hes leakin oil jus though i should tell u

 

Are all the plugs oil fouled or just some? You might suggest a compression test. It's hard to qoute a rebuild without knowing how much parts have worn out of specs. I spent $1500 on my 88 2.8 with all the machine work. It needed alot of work as well as parts. Sometimes I regret not doing a v8 swap instead.
