Replaced my oil pressure sensor since it was leaking... The gauge read 3/4 with the old one but now reads 1/4 with the new one.. I also noticed that if I disconnect the wires to the sensor, the gauge still reads 3/4 and the fuel pump doesn't get shut off. Anybody have any experience with these?

 

Maybe you got the sensor that is for the trouble lights instead of gauges.
