Not running so great
1986 2.8L V6 automatic Camaro
Car starts fine, generally takes a bit of revving before it'll idle without dying. When I'm accelerating it feels like I keep letting off the gas and won't keep a constant acceleration going. Also, the idle seems a bit rough and low. If I come to a quick stop (nothing crazy, just driving like an ***) the car will often die.
Quick History: Bought car 2 years ago, ran great until I drowned it driving home in a flash flood. Drained water, changed oil, cleaned cylinders with transmission fluid, new plugs and air filters. Let family drive it for about a year, got it back like this. The car has noticeably less power overall from when I lent it to family.
What would you suggest I try fixing/changing?
Newly installed parts:
Water Pump
Ignition Switch
Power Steering Pump
EGR Valve
Alternator

I suspect that having given the car a bath may be causing many of your problems. Water can get into connectors and wiring, especilly old ones, and start the corrosion process, which gets worse with time. That is why insurance companies total cars that went under water.
