1992 RS 3.1...Standing in front of the engine compartment looking to the left...The coil is to the back...There is a part that seems to sit on the exhaust manifold directly in front on the coil,it is about the same size as the coil....it is alsoblackened around the baselike there is an exhaust leak there and it has an electrical plug in it..That part clicks repeatedly when the ignition key is engaged without starting.The fan also spins with every click..What is this part...Thanks in advance!!

 

It has 3 kinda round things on it? Its the EGR
