idle problem

92 rs v6. everytime i push the clutch in and shift to neutral the engine stays revved at 3000 RPMs. it does this until you get below 10 MPH no matter what gear your shifting out of. any ideas whats causing this?

Check if your throttle linkage is sticking. Also may be a dirty IAC valve.
