pick up a dealer service manual for your yr and model. heres one thats been well used but only 25 bucks. should be able to find a better one for 50 to 90.

Its pretty simple,
First you take the old one out.
Then you put the new one up in place
Bada Bing Bada Boom, Its replaces.

A lot of guys forget the "Bing" part and end up replacing the new tranny is less then a year so be sure to follow the instuctions to the letter.

You forgot the Bing,, The bing is flushing out the tranny cooling system. Since the current tranny failed there is most likely metal in the cooling system. You also left out how to deal with the torque converter and how to make sure its in all the way. I have replace half a dozen front pumps in trannys from clueless do it yourselfers. That was the ones that figured out they screwed up. If they had try to start the car then the whole tranny would need pulled apart. For someone asking for step by step instuction for what is a simple task they really need a manual or help from someone who has done it before and the tools to do it. That is why I was being a "dork" BTW your instruction are just as big a joke as mine, No mention of the shifter the speedo cable the dip stick the Modulator/TV cable or the torque arm.

my instructions werent meant to be specfic bolt by bolt instructions. it was just to point him in the right direction.
