i recently installed 409 ci small block into my 92 camaro.now the alternator will not charge. i used alot of the factory wiring harness. the engine now has a carb.i had the old one tested 3 times and it checked out fine. has anyone else had this problem?

 

i did but not with a 409. i swapped a 350 and it would die every morning. and come to find out the battery was fried from charging it too long. check ur battery
