does anyone know how to hook up a canister to a auto trans . my trans takes a high rpm to shift.i was told to put a canister in between the carb and trans.

 

May want to check the TV cable first.

 

If you have the original trans, it's a 700R4 and it's not vacuum controlled. Or did somebody swap in something different like a T350, which is vacuum controlled. Even so, with those you don't add a vacuum canister between the carb and trans to alter the shift points, there are other ways. So, what trans do you have?
