Did you find the thread I told you about? The EFI fuel pump is in the tank. Your going to have to swap in a just a plain draw system like an old school gas tank would have. THis is the exact type of thing I was talking about. The 4th gen never had a manual fuel pump so your going to have to make a draw tub and gage system. Is this was a EFI 3rd gen you could buy the parts from a 85 carb car for $20.

Ok so you made a mistake by buying a 4th gen body. Not a big deal, a 4th gen shell is worth more then a 3rd gen shell. Sell the 4th gen shell and buy a nice 3rd gen. The fuel sending unit is just the first of many many problems. Do you really want a car you have to pull the motor on just to change a distributor cap?
