82 camaro trany problems need help

Default 82 camaro trany problems need help
I have a 82 camaro with a TH200 trany when the trany get hot it wont shift into 3rd it will shift in to first and second just fine but when it goes to 3rd it just revs up any one know why this is? Also when it does that if u put it in neutral and rev it up and then put it in gear it will grab 3rd….. Any ideas??

28 yr old auto with some abuse & wear= Time for a rebuild (bands may be slipping). Whatever you do, it is going to cost money and that depends where you take it....Just don't go to AAMCO
