Default Just got my 89 Camaro RS

It's just to low to the ground. I scrape the floor every time me and my friends get into the car which is 2 or 3 230lbs guys. Is there anyway I can raise it an inch or two. I'm not talking about lift kits but maybe bigger tires? Any ideas

different shocks and springs would help bring it up

Start with shocks and struts- as they age and wear out, the car will sit lower. Maybe you'll get lucky like I did and your car will still have the originals- they were so worn out I could compress them with one finger.

I recommend KYB Gas-a-just.

If you still have problems after that, then yeah, you'll want to move on to springs, which could very well also be worn out. After that I'd honestly be very surprised if you still had trouble- I gave a very large friend a ride, after replacing just my shocks. 400 lbs, and no scraping.

Maximum payload (occupants and other stuff) on your car I believe is 800 lbs. Just the three of you guys are coming close to maxing out the suspension, and likely to be beyond that if you have some heavy stereo equipment or other crap in the car.

Lol honestly 800lbs? That's pretty low would new suspension raise that limit?
Also I was looking into air shocks is that that a good way to go?
