85 Sport Coupe V6 to V8 any advice appreciated.
Hello my Mike and recently my father in law passed and he had a 85 Sport coupe V6. My wife wanted to swap it into a V8 car she could cruise around and of course I said I could pull it off. Found a 305 and a TH350c with shift kit $250. Motor literally has 168 miles on it. 2.8 and transmission has already been removed. Can I use any of the accessories from the 6? Motor mounts? Front end work? Torque Bar with Th350? Gauges? Will I have to change the rear end? And about 900 others things. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Father in law was a Vietnam Vet and retired Police officer and I’d love honor him with putting this together. Thank you in advance

basic Carb setup mods are not as intense. Radiator, motor mounts, Tach, struts - possibly drive shaft mod because of the TH350 - I stuck with the 700R4 but Hurst supplies a Torque Arm relocation bracket for the TH350. You may also need to modify the trans cross member. Spohn makes one. Those are the basics ...been a while for me to recall the little details.
