3rd geners eagle status: I'm starting a motor swap on my 1984 Camaro's z28 t tops. It has the original 305 HO in it and now it's knocking... So I wanna put a 350 into it. I found a Chevy 350 350 HP vortech replacement at paceperformance. It's a long block preped and primed. 2 piece rear main seal. So if I wanna use this motor what else will I need to complete this build? I've been told variances in the 305 computer won't recognise the 350 and starve it of fuel. Also 350 knock sensor different flex plate different chip in the ecm??? IDK... Have been told that the heads on the 305 are vortech and the intake will fit on the 350 vortech??? Just want more HP than the tired 305 had. Help please need expert info on doing this swap. Thanks. PS I LIVE IN COLORADO AND IT HAS TO PASS COLORADO EMISSIONS. THAT MEENS EGR VALVE AIR PUMP CAT OXY SENSOR COMPUTER CONTROLLED CARB Air injection tubes for the exhaust manifolds ALL THAT ****.... AT LEAST TILL I CAN GET COLLECTOR OLATES AND GET ALL THAT **** OFF THERE....
