I just purchased a 1992 camaro rs 305., a few issues wrong with it but got a good deal. Nothing major I hope so hoping I can do all myself. Guy I bought from said he was coming home and it died on him at the stop. (And that it won't pass smog idles too high)He started it up again and drive it home. I bought brought home a vaccum line that is on top of manifold between carb and distributor was open I could feel the vaccum so I plugged it. No more black smoke and no more high idle. Would overheat and still does, but if I turn on ac fan turns onot so I do that as car gets warmer. But ac compressor inop so it's blistering hot in the car. So I took it around and was Fine for about an hour of driving it again started to sound like sputtering like running out of gas which it not. And that's what it was doing before so I assumed vaccum line. (The one I plugged) so not sure what that goes to other if something is also disconnected. I was running good for two days while if go around heh block as I did things to it. Removed and replaced then blessed brake fluid as it was brown. Oil change and checked spark plugs and thee look okay I think also have pictures of all I'm talking about to make it easier. Also forgot it now stalls from park to D or R unless light gas given before switching

Oh also took only one spark plug out from the front of each bank
