1992 Camaro RS Drag Project
Hey guys I have a 1992 Camaro that I bought in decent condition. Out here in Ohio the weather got bad and I had an accident causing my drivers side fender to be bent in and the front bumper to be destroyed. I have to replace a lot on it so i decided to make it into a drag car. Anyone have any ideas on where to start or where to get good parts for a good price?
Front fenders are relatively cheap...even GM panels. The front plastic pieces are a little more pricey, but not crazy. Just fix it, paint it, and keep using it. A legit drag car will cost way more to build than just fenders, bumpers/facia. You can look at year one and classic industries are good starting point. There are others out there too.
If your going to drag it then craigslist the **** out of it. what motor are you dealing with/wanting? what are you expecting out of your ride. Also I jew the **** out of every company till i get the lowest price. I got a set of hooker super comps for $470 to the door from summit racing.
