An update for this project, ordered up a reman transmission. The previous one slipped and wouldn't go into 2nd gear. Also a new transmission mount and cooler lines will be installed. Kinda broke one of the lines when changing the radiator lol. Since there's no core charge I'll play around with the old transmission and see if I can fix it and do some upgrades.
