Default memory

Hi, I have a 90 camaro and I put a jvc a605 in it a few months ago, but in never held memory. I took it out yesterday to see what I could see. The way it is hooked up is as follows; 2 yellow wires together 2 red wires together, all 4 wires together. Like this it works except the memory. When I put the orange constant to these 4 wires it holds memory, but my light on ic come on and lights behind hvac come on as well. With the key off I put a test light to the 12v constant and I am getting no power. How do I hook this HU so that it works right?

Run a new line for constant from either your battery or a constant hot from your fuse panel

Yeah, so I guess this post/issue has been solved. But maybe some members might be asking for more answers.
