Default z28 clone

ive got an 89 RS. Im gona try and make it, slowly, a z28 clone aside from drive train. Since it already has a pretty stout 350 in it, im keepin it how it is. I was more concerned about the suspension though. When i order the new parts, can i simply say i need them for an 89 z28? I guess the question is, will z28 suspension bolt up to the old RS location? I would think so, but ive been wrong before.

also, anybody sellin a set of IROC wheels? Rubber or not, i dont care.

i got some 16 inch 88-90 style iroc's. they have 245/50/16 grand spirit tires with 60-70 percent tread. the wheels are in real nice shape. they came off an iroc with like 60k miles. i'd like to get350 plush shipping. maybe we can work out something.

You should have no problem ordering suspension parts for a Z28

as far as suspention parts go, get some good quality springs, struts, and sway bars and you can outhandle a stock Z28 with no problem. just make sure what you have is in good shape I.E. ball joints, tie rods, center link, and such. with springs , struts , sway bars , a strut tower brace , rear lower control arms , a panhard bar,sub frame connectors and some 17" wheels it is easy to pull 1g in a 3rd gen. you could run with a Z51 Vette in the corners with those numbers.

right on, im wanting to do this for less than say, 700 or so for everything, soi wont be gettin best of the best here. just, good stuff. Im about to purchase some new tires. I was thinkin Bridgestone Potenza tires. for the 16 inch rs wheels though, wish i had a set of the IROC's, but they are hard to find for a good price that are in any kind of good shape.
