I have put away my 85 2.8 for the winter and im getting it ready for the new 350 im planging on putting in this winter. I have found an 88 red RS but the front end is smashed but the guy is selling the body for only $200 im tempted to buy it just for the parts. there are alot of good parts like the side skirts and the rear end is just so clean but the front end is smashed.. He is also selling the 305 that it had i havnt asked how much yet but do you think it would be a good buy that if i could get the engine for maybe $250? and say screw the body or buy the body and say screw the engine and wait for my 350?

 

Wait for the 350. If the front end is all f.u.b.a.r, you'll probably find something is off about the engine, like a misaligned crankshaft pulley, or something like that. The body might be worth it depending on what you need out of it. Got pictures?
