Default Worth?

Hey guys sorry to bug ya, but who knows better than you camaro enthusiast? Im looking at an 84 with the 5spd and a 350 motor. Not the original motor. 160k on the car, less on the motor. Motor has been rebuilt. Clear title. Only thing wrong with the car is a dent on the passenger side fender.

Has 3 inch to magna flow exhaust.
350 bored out.
bigger cam.
194 Heads.
edlebrock intake.
New Clutch.
295/50/15 tires in the rear.
DVD player with aftermarket speakers.

Thats the info I got from the owner. Now for the pictures.

He's asking 5500. Any thoughts? Just looking for a guess based on what you can see here. Obviously you could make a better guess if you saw it in person.

Thanks for any help!
Joe.

Looks to be in good shape from the pics. You can tell he pulled the motor but not professionally done. The wiring looks like a knoted chain. Lol. I would settle for $700-1000 off that price if he couldnt paper work. I dnt mind listening to "I did this...I did that...show me some papers. I would ask details better than "I put a bigger cam in"

bald tires
dent in fender is not a minor fix; good luck matching the paint
are those pull on seat covers??? If so, interior is ripped so deduct

$5500 only if the car is pristine which it is not

$2500 cash

obviously the seller is not serious about wanting to sell or thinks his car is worth more than what the market thinks it's worth

I only paid $700 for my 88 with bad tires, ripped bumper, ripped driver seat and last but not least a half*** v6 to 305 swap. The guy wanted 2,800. Ha!

Might wanna get more specs on the engine and the quality of the rebuild. The seller could easily have half of what he's asking just in that.
It has a bigger cam? I thought they were one size fits all, mostly!

You should be able to find a much nicer ride for that amount of money.
