Default wiring manual fan switch

so i tryed to wire in a manual fan switch this weekend, i used to have on in my car but i took it out when i thought i fixed it, well i didnt, and been runing around with the ac on, so i went to ground the green wire on the relays on the firewall closest to the passnagers side, and when grounded, it didnt kick the fan on, is something seriously fubered up (still runs with ac on) or is it the fact that i was using some thick(er) speaker wire (all i had) to wire it?

i would wire it back to stock and get the low temp fan switch from Jegs. the 3rd gen runs rediculous hot stock, ive reccommended this to everyone with this issue, because it worked so incredibly good on my 89 RS

Not every ones uses that fan switch. I think his will use the computers sensor to tell the puter when to turn the fan on.

i just cut the hot wire on mine and ran it into a switch on the inside so i can turn it on manually.
