Default Wiring Issues

Okay all, I recently purchased a 1986 IROC thatisvery nice body & drivetrain wise. However it has some wiring issues.
Its many things some are I can turn off the key & it will run for about 2 to 3 seconds before it shuts off. Its a carbed engine not injected.

Sometimes when I turn on the right blinker the oil gage, tach & other gages move in sync with the signal.

The horn isn't working but I found a wire not connected behind the horn button, hopefully that's all that is.

Is there a place to buyharnesses soyou can change out old ones?

All other advise is really welcomed.
Thanks all,
CCar

That's the second time I've been given that advise. I'll start on it tomorrow withan ohm/volt meter.
Does anyone have more hints?

I'm pretty sure whenthe engine was installed they probably removed a TBI or TPI because the wiring looks all junked up.
I'll try & post some photos of the car.

check for a bad ground.
Now that makes 3 times. That will do the funny things to your gauges. But with the car still running. Is it running like as if the key was still on or chugging (dieseling/run on)?
If its running as if the key was still on then I would suspect the ignition switch. It should be killing power and may not be. Maybe sticking and it takes 2-3 seconds for it to slide into the off position.
If its dieseling then check the idle and timing. Idle too high or timng off?

Nope its not the dieseling thing, it just runs like the key is still on. I'llcheck & see ifits sticking or just needs to be replaced. I also wonder if by some chance there is bleed over voltagefrom the alternator. Its a mess under the hood IMHO. Photos when I can get them uploaded.
