The wipers on my 1983 z28 will work, the wash works, all the intermitent speeds work, as well as high and low. However, when i turn the switch to OFF, they keep running at the low speed. the only way to stop them is to turn the key off, and when i turn it back on, they park where they should. what it wrong? do i need a new motor?

 

sounds like the controller is failing. by turning the car off your resetting it. maybe? im not to familiar with really any cars pre 1990s.

 

Maybe a switch.

 

its been raining here the past day or so, and ive been using them. They seem to be getting better. Maybe this is another problem that came about from sitting for a few years. i'll see what happens
