Ive decided that my wore out 305 is gonna need to be replaced within the next year. Ive done some preliminary searching on Egay and the web, and all I can find out there for a healthy/rebuilt 350 is about 800 bucks plus freight (another 200). Does anybody have any experience ordering a good 350 for a 82 'Maro, who's price came in around 1 grand....let me know...thanks....Scott

PS...junk yard is a NOGO. I live in upstate NY...if its not rusted all to hell they charge about 15% less than list....)

 

Search ebay for a crate 350. seen some brand new for $1000.00 . Sick

 

Again, ebay is a 50/50 chance of getting something good. Unless it is from a famillair store, I'd go with summit racing's crate long blocks. Or Profromanceunlimted.com But those are a little bit on the heafty side. GM perfomance motors run for about $1400

 

Check the Dealer out a base long block 350 for about $1200 and no freight with a 3yr warranty.
