Default What's my car worth?

Hey all, I hate to say it, but I may be sellin my car. I still have other cars but I need a down pmt. for a house. I was wondering what a reasonable asking price would be? I thought you all would know best. It's a 91 Z28, 117K miles, 4 inch fiberglass cowl hood, Motor and tranny have 1000 miles on them. 3.73 gears, tubular panhard bar, lower control arms ( and relocation brackets) spohn adjustable torque arm, weld in subframe connectors, brand new (less than 150 miles) bfgoodrich g-force T/A tires (255/45/17) all the way around on brand new 17' cragar ss wheels (chrome). Car is black...Tranny isa race built 700R4 good to 600hp, shift kit, corvette servos etc....B&M 2800 hole shot torque converter, interior is nice, one small tear in drivers seat 1 inch long, no cracks in the dash or anything...brand new head liner, sail panels, and visors by custom upholstery shop (redone to stock black cloth) black interior, nice cd player, speaker, subs etc ($1000 new). Everything from power seats, mirrors, etc still works, only cruise and A/C doesn't work. Guages all work fine. The engine has about 6000 in it. It was built by myself and a buddy of mine who builds race motors for a living for race cars. It's a GM 350 block, bored and stroked to a 383, Rotating is an Eagle forged crank and rods, pistons are speed pro hypereutectic, 10:1 compression, heads are DART iron eagle, 180cc intake, 64cc chambers. Comp cams valve springs and very healthy cam (comp said it's the wildest you can run with the stock computer running off of manifold vacuum. It has a definite choppy idle). Manley valves (2.05/1.60). Intake runners on heads and intake manifold port matched to gasket (slightly larger than the 180cc chamber). The intake is a TPI intake, siamesed runners (SLP) Plenum siamesed to match runners, and port matched to the intake manifold. Throttle body is an edelbrock 58mm (1000 cfm) throttle body and plenum is port matched to it also. K&N filters, cold air....cast aluminum valve covers (like the orange ones on the 572 big blocks but not painted, just cast aluminum....) with breathers. Hooker competition headers, all custom exhaust from header collector to tailpipe. All Custom built 3inch tubing, all ceramic coated. No cats but there is a straight section where one could be added if needed.... I'm guessing the motor makes 400-450 horse... probably at least that in torque. It runs great. When drag racing, I shift it at about 7600-7800 rpm. The computer chip was custom programmed to my engine setup (heads, cam, ignition etc..) The ignitionhas a fireball coil, moroso wires, but no box. Anyways, lemme know what you guys think. I know with fixing up cars, you never get what you put into them but justlooking for someopinions. Thanks!

What it is worth is what other people will pay and not what you think it is worth. You need the right buyer for your car who cares about the effort & parts put into it.

Yeah, I concur. You will probably never get what it's worth. I wish I had 10 grand to offer you. But I would say it's worth more than that.
