which year of the third generation camaro is your favorite and why, mine would be the one between 82 and 86 because i like working with carbureted engines over fuel injection

 

My 87 is carb'd. I'd say 87 and 92 - I was born in 87, and 92 was the last year. Seems to me that the last year(s) seem to be the most aggressively styled (look at the last gen Cavaliers - the early ones look like a pill, the later ones look like a meat slicer). Other than that, I like all of em!

I liked my carbed 84 but I like the bumper covers/ ground effects on my 91. I do not like the instrument cluster in my 91 nor did I like the 84's 85mph speedo but I had replaced that with Autometer. So I think even though the ground effects are a little different a happy medium would be 85-87 MYs.

 

89 no special reason i purchased it from a friend that did not need it

 

85 - first year IROC/TPI, still runs great.
