i have a 92 camaro with a 305, does anybody no why it is so sluggish i mean i got smoked by an 86 mustang 3.8 shoudent the V8 have more power? both of ower cars were auto except he had more miles on his car?? what mods could i do or get for my car, i know there are a ton ofafter market parts for a 302 but i thought chevys were easier to "hook-up"

I didn't think the 305s were really known to be a high performance engine. Of course I wouldn't think the Ford 3.8 is either. When was the last time you had a tune-up?
