hey guys i need some help... i have a 91 camaro rs with the stock 305.. auto... and i have recently purchased a cd player with a navigation system built in... to the the install it says for me to slice into the vss wire for the correct speed and the reverse wire for direction i think... problem is i have no idea what or where either one of these are so please help

 

Well if you want to go to the sources the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) is on the tailshaft of the tranny and there is a switch on shifter under the top of the console for the reverse you can tap into.
It might be easy for you to tap into the VSS at the tranny and then feed the wire up through the gromit for the shifter cable then both wires will be in that same spot for the VSS and reverse.
