I just purchased an '82 Z28 to restore. After talking with a few other camaro enthusiasts they suggested I inquire for some more knowledgeable assistance. The Z28 I purchased has an original fiberglass hood, all power options, 305 cu in, but what we noticed was the 904 code on the tranny. After some research we found that to be the ST 10 4 speed. Basically want to know if all this was a common factory build, buyer request, or manufacturer/dealer upgrade. Anyone?

 

Nothing unusal about the the items listed for the 1982 model year. Could be a standard Factory or a buyers special order.
