Last year Ibrought my 1995 Z-28 into the local dealership to have the Coolant flushed and filled, and while I was there I asked to have them pull up the build sheet on it. I was very surpried to see several items on the sheet. There where "import brakes" along with a 3:43 rear end gear. I was wondering what exactly I have in my garage. Are thesespecial options that make this car rare? I bought the car as a new dealer demo in late '95. Any help would be appreciated.

 

You have the factory optional high performance package.

 

I saw where there where only 106 '95s with the 1LE package. Is this a sought after car (i.e. should I keep it as stock as possible) or is it just another option, like t-tops or power windows?

 

Yeah its pretty desirable, and rare. It was one of those semi secret options few knew about. Perhaps it will be like the yenkos, you never know. Its obviously alot more sought after then a normal z28. Look where some of those prices are from 40 years ago. I'd keep it stock myself.

 

The "Performance" option is another option, like T tops, the 1LE is rare. Check inside your glove compartment and scan over your option codes and see if 1LE is listed. If it's not, you've got a regular old Camaro, or the quick way to check, do you have AC? If you do, you don't have the 1LE package...
