Hey guys, I just want to understand this correctly. You're saying that a 60 deg. v6 in the 3rd gens uses the same bolt pattern as the 90 deg. v8? I'm alittle confused, sorry.

 

The 700R4 tranny from a 2.8L v6 engine will not bolt to a sbc, it is impossible, they have entirely different bellhousings. The v6 is a 60 degree and the v8 is a 90 degree. If you have a larger v6 then yes they will bolt up, but other than that no they will not.
