I was wondering what all is needed to toss ina 350 into a v6 RS. I think I can get a really good deal on an RS locally, but I would only get it if it is not a major overhaul to put a 350 into her.
Would I need to upgrade the brakes and suspension? Guess im just looking for input/advice on if it would be worth it, or should I spend the extra cash to get a z28 or a rs with the 305 and swap it out.....hope I didnt ramble

 

Well I don't know about brakes (but I would recommend upgrading them), but you will need to upgrade the suspension to a V8 suspension (305 or 350). You will need new motor mounts and a new computer (depending on if it is TPI or not) as well. I would say either way, if it is used and you need to replace these things anyway, either a V6 or 305 RS will work. If it is used but the parts are new, go for the 305 and it will make life a whole lot easier. Let me know if you need any help.

 

V8 into a V6 car will cost and require to much work. The list of items requrired is to long to list, just everything is different.
