I have a 1986 IROC with a 305 TPI. I have problems getting it started whether cold or hot. I changed the fuel filter and the regulator thinking it may be a fuel issue. Still have the issue. It'll crank but won't turn over right away. Usually takes 5-10 minutes of trying and waiting before it does but every so often it'll start right away. Once it does it'll sort of sputter like it's not getting fuel and when you give it some gas it'll go and will run fine until I shut it off; the entire ordeal starts all over again. Noticed there's an air sensor missing from the intake tube. I'm wondering if it's got something to do with that sensor missing or possibly a combition of things. Any insight is appreciated.
