Default trans swap question

has anybody swapped in a th350 trans into a 91 or 92 with an electric speedometer. if so what did you do to get the speedo th work, and i'd also like to know what kind of a setup i need for the kickdown cable and bracket.
btw; i am running a carbed 350 with a q-jet carb
any help would be appreciated

thanks
brad

Have to ask,why the th350? You are going to have a heck of a lot of crap to do to make that work right. it doesn't make sense to give up OD and have a trans that is for the most part the same as the 4l60

700R4 and 4L60 is the same transmission. 4L60 is just a newer name.
And I wouldn't want to give up having O/D either, not to mention the extra work to convert it over.

why a th350, well my 700r has hit the crapper and i'm not sure if i want to drop that much money on a rebuild or spend the money to convert to what i feel is a better tranny. second the way my car will be used i don't really need OD cause with the motor i have gas milage is out of the question anyway. third other that figuring out what to do about the electronic speedo i can get everything including the trans to do the swap pretty reasonable

btwl: thanks for the replies

brad
